88 turbo motor in a 91 na body

i have an 88 and 91, i blue up the motor 3 time's now in the 91 and am trashing it do to a messed up over shaved head with that of a fully built 88 turbo motor and ecu and tran's. what problem's will i run into with this build? like wireing and gadge's and light's and all, what should i be mind full. i have the harness im useing it and ecu and the 5-speed. i had the na 5-speed but im droping that also.. turning the 88 into a jap american maby one day... not today. 91 first my girl. any help big or small is great for me and this build.

Better to modify the harness.

You'll run into some wiring issues like a/c, door, and other random bits which don't plug up.

wait i get it.. ok im only swiching the motor wireing harness how odes the ac and door play a part in this? i also noticed there are two ecu's one the ecu for the motor what is the other? and if by any chance the other little ecu for the dash would it be ok to use the 91 na one for all the car and dash, and use the 88 turbo mt for the motor and what not? idk... if i saw a wireing diagram of the set up and relay's ill better understand how the door's and light's and the ac control's work.

Bring all the 91 sensors/etc to the 88.

I have a 91T harness available too.

Swap the motors and leave the wiring. 88 harness in 88 and 91 harness in 91. Will need to keep all the sensors from the 91 and put on the 88 motor.

what about the ecu's i only have a turbo 88 ecu and an 91. the 88 has coil pack's and the 91 doesnt.. ok im still left in the dark.

Is the 91 non turbo?

Source a 91 turbo ecu and harness. Or just the ecu if you have a turbo 89 harness.

ok once and for all, you need to state what your doing with what motor and type of motor. your giving random bit of information out and ask for help. so, all we can do is guess what your problem is which bring you back to square one.

and no, doors have nothing to do with your motor unless your wire your injectors to your door handle

ok the full run down. i have a 91 na supra. pulled the motor. i have a full 88 turbo supra. i have had the full motor board and shaved the head shaved and new valve job. i have 60 over sized wiseco forged pistions im getting some eagle forged connecting rods i have a t4 manfold, also a 50mm waste gate 3x18x13 intercooler a t67 turbo, 3inch exsouse no cat, planing on tuneing the ecu with a piggie back sytem for fuel management a 255lph fuel pump, 2mm metal head gasket (since i had shaved both the head and block with a combined total of 30 thousands), arp head studs, a common blow off valve, a uzfe afm, 550cc injector's. and i know im forgetting some stuff... i am wondering also since i will most likely be gretting a new dash cover would it be smarted to take the dash out of the 88 and also put it into the 91... this is what im working with i can blue print a motor just dont know nor want to fubar my ecu... is this enofe info?

I would just get a used 91 turbo harness and ecu. Plug and play and your on your way.

You just have to use some newer sensors that you could use some off the ge too because some of the connectors are different.
